The 1933 Carreras Personality Series promoted Turf Cigarettes. 72 of the 73 footy cards had identical fronts to the 1933 Allen’s cards, with their backs displaying “Turf” Virginia Cigarettes. Cards 73-96 had a totally different look, featuring caricatures of various sports people, with one of those cards including an Aussie Rules player, that being Haydn Bunton. Like in the Football Series, these caricatures were drawn by Bob Miram.
