Another year, another very similar release for Kornies. Their 1953 footy card set featured an action shot of the player at training and the printed signature positioned in the background. The back of the cards saw the ‘Footballers in Action’ heading changed to be placed on a flag. The bottom of the back featured an add for Kornies, “The Breakfast of Champions”. Speaking of which, the set contains the highly prized rookie card of Aussie Rules champion, Ted Whitten.
