Unlike the previous 3 years which had a portrait photo of each player, the 1951 Kornies cards featured an action shot of the VFL stars while training. The front also contained a printed player signature, similar to 1950, but this was positioned based on the player shot. The back had the heading ‘Footballers in Action’ which was different from ‘Victorian Footballers’ in the previous 3 releases.
