1904 Sniders & Abrahams (Series A)
1904 Sniders & Abrahams (Standard Cigarettes) Australian Footballers
Collection: 73 cards
Scarcity rating: 6
Released with Standard Cigarettes, the 1904 Sniders & Abrahams set was the first Australian Rules football card set ever produced, and it began the famous run of Sniders & Abrahams football series that continued for the next decade. Each card shows a full-length colour portrait of a VFL player in his club’s uniform of the day. Some portraits are framed by a thin blue line and the majority are not. The highlight of this Series A set is the Charlie Pannam rookie card, the first card of the Collingwood great.
