1905-06 Sniders & Abrahams (Series B)
1905-06 Sniders & Abrahams (Standard Cigarettes) VFL
Collection: 56 cards
Scarcity rating: 6
The 1905-06 Sniders and Abrahams set was the second of the company’s Standard Cigarettes football series. Documented as Series B, it moved away from the full-length portraits of the 1904 set to three-quarter length portraits, with each player pictured from roughly the knees up in his club guernsey. The cards are also a little wider than the inaugural release. The Victorian League set has 56 cards covering all eight VFL clubs. It was released alongside a 20-card VFA set in the same style, the first time Sniders & Abrahams included players from the Association.
