66 cards made up the Scanlens set in 1970, but the release also contained special mini posters folded up and found in packs, one for each team. The cards had yellow borders with a checkered pattern on the front and jigsaw pieces on the back, making up a photo of the previous years’ Grand Final. 1970 was the first release to include the now-famous motto “Have Fun With Scanlens Gum”. The set also contains the rookie card of one of footballs favourite son’s, Kevin Sheedy.
